Their bones bring warmth for you in winter
From Oven to Rail what is the most important is "The Black Diamond" "Coal", which is used almost in every field. In our country where development is in full swing energy is the most required and our developing industrial sector is fully dependent on it. In India nearly 90% energy whether it's light in your house, factory or office is generated with the coal. Although we import some share from Australia and other countries but a greater part of this is brought to various parts of country from our Northeastern States specially from Assam. We all are developing, almost everybody is developing. The coal mining companies are making millions of bucks. But question is where is the man who brings this all to us, what is his daily living what he earns and what if he dies inside the mine when the mine collapses or it catches fire because of methane gas, have you ever tried to know about. perhaps your answer will be definitely "I never thought about this ".
In abroad there are much facilities and better equipped mines to ensure minimal danger for men at work but here in North east specially in Assam the condition of a mine worker is very poor. According to law in Assam every natural assets there is of the local peoples and there is no interference of any government body, that's why these mines have no proper equipments or facility and that's why many of the labour died inside in last years. Their morning life starts with no surety of getting alive from the mine. In the name of mining equipments they have only Pail and spade and for light a candle. for a soulless amount of money they are compelled to go inside. If anybody dies inside there just forget about the compensation if anybody of his relation or family is there then they recover the body and cremate it, and if nobody is there after him/her they even not try to dig out his body from there local administration also do not takes any interest into this matter and all the things are berried there. they have not even the basic health care facilities there but they have no option instead of working in these deadly conditions. So next time in bone chilling winters when you burn your brazier to get some heat or blower just remember those who died in bringing these voluptuousness to you . When you visit the bars and pubs to make your night illuminated they live under there light less cottages.
I give full credit to labourers working in mines for valuable contribution to our development process. It will be unfair on our part, if we can not assess the value of their lives even after they work so hard for all of us. Let's give a full applause for their spirit for work and boldness against all odds of life.
ReplyDeleteactually no workers gets proper reimbursement and credit for his hard work
ReplyDeletewhether it is coal sector or any other sector
it is commonly said that the beautiful building is constructed by labourers and after completion they don't get entry into that
